They’ll end up liking you and supporting your business wholeheartedly, and what do you know, there’ll be those that won’t even be buying a stitch from you. How strange is that? I know, it’s a mystery to me as well. But it just goes to show that there’s goodness left in this world. Any case, these good folks will be rewarded.
Speaking of which, that’s what you should be doing. Once your business is rocketing forward like a bullet train, you should give them prizes or free gifts for helping you promote your business. How do they do this? It’s a going tradition amongst the nice Instagram folks to issue IG likes left, right and center. But here’s a warning. Not to every Dick, Tom and Harry. Nice folks are clever and cautious folks too. They’ll like you if there’s merits. If you’re doing something quite exceptional and it is positively out of the ordinary, they may just even give you a complementary comment.
And this you do consistently every once in a while. Do send them a thank-you note, thanking them for their positive comments. Of course, again, you’ll be giving them their gifts every once in a while. But don’t go crazy with this, particularly if you’ve just started out. You’ll need to have a warehouse-style inventory of goods to farm out to actual paying clients. It’s going to look crazy once orders start coming in and your stocks are low and you have to apologize for not keeping your promise to deliver.
